Centre circulates model GST laws among states.

The centre and state have completed the drafting of model Goods and Services tax law, which will be put in public domain.

The finance ministry has posted on its website draft business processes on GST registrations, refunds and payments, inviting comments from stakeholders.
The Empowered committee of state finance ministers are likely to meet this month to discuss the legislations of central GST (CGST), state GST (SGST) and integrated (IGST).
